Village Council approves Phase 2 of Park Renovations

The Morning Journal published a story about the East Palestine Village Council’s approval of Phase 2 of East Palestine City Park renovations. 

During a Village Council meeting Aug. 26, council members reviewed final conceptual plans for phase 2 which includes the new pool and aquatic center. The Village Council gave unanimous approval to the plans, giving the greenlight for the second phase of the $25 million project.

Updates to the park will be completed in six phases to limit disruption while work is underway. Work began in July and is projected to be finished by the end of July 2027. More details on the renovations can be found here
