Site Remediation
— East End of the Response Area:
—— Over the next few weeks crews will install an enhanced monitoring network of groundwater wells.
—— Taggart Street remains open to traffic and the community should anticipate periodic site-related equipment and vehicles on the road.
—— Air monitoring continues sitewide. As the scope of site activities continues to diminish the associated air monitoring will also be reduced accordingly.
— Ongoing monitoring of surface water, groundwater, and drinking water wells continues per the schedules defined in the associated work plans.
Site Restoration
— The areas of former site activities continue to be restored and will continue as weather conditions allow.
Stream Work
— The Spring assessment (sheen surveys, sediment and water sampling) is being scheduled to begin at the end of the month and will be performed as weather conditions allow.
